Sunday soup was a no-go. I was feeling nappish and succumbed to my cozy corner of the couch. Today was the day for roasting tomatoes & aromatic friends, garlic & shallot; for a slow simmer in a bath of savory broth and bay leaves and basil. Today was the day. Today was also the day to visit my new fave gift shop and choose a candle for myself. Himalayan handmade candles-Manor House- musky jasmine/ rose/ sandalwood. I swoon & I like today.
