I’m enamored with little boutique hotel rooms. Far from a boring blank canvas, function meets character brilliantly at CitizenM. Surrounded by happy colors and art, smiles erupt. I have joined the many already obsessed with their soaps.
We chose our accommodations based on our destination venue, The Garden (please hear that with a Bostonian accent) which is only a few steps away. We chose nearby Night Shift Brewing at Lovejoy wharf for our pregame sips and bites- a lip smacking Fluffinity New England IPA and Detroit style Figgy Piggy pizza for me, Infinity Pool IPA and Nashville Hot chicken sandwich for hubs. We were both perfectly satisfied and ready for music.
We scored our tickets for The Eagles on Thursday- what a fabulous bridge between our already existing Friyay! And Sunday Funday! plans. From the unmistakable opening of Hotel California to the last note of Best of My Love, the crowd was feeling it. Over three hours of memory-invoking songs, we left The Garden (again, Bostonian accent needed) perfectly satisfied and walked home to CitizenM to sleep in the skyline.
