I don’t often eat leftovers. I don’t mind them, but sadly, they simply don’t occur to me. But today I’m looking forward to enjoying leftover stew. I’ve made the same crock pot stew for years. I love it. Chris loves it. The kids love it. But, I felt like putting a little extra love & stuff into my cooking on Thursday. Red wine in our home goes ignored unless we’re entertaining which we haven’t been…so I made grown up stew. Rich and savory, this stew has a depth of flavor that has me daydreaming about it. In my book, my life, my opinion, stew is best served with the simple, humble yet perfect Bisquick drop biscuits. Always. I cannot wait for linner (brunch = breakfast + lunch; linner = lunch + dinner)
