In Stitches…
Over the years, I’ve been asked about selling my stitches. Knowing the time investment, I’ve hesitated to monetize my afghans and ponchos. Recently I was approached with a sincere and serious request that resulted in my first commissioned piece. Mine is simple, somewhat basic stitch work using amazing yarns that my eyes and my hands and my heart love. It’s what I’m drawn to. Simple things that feel good. It is, quite honestly, still difficult for me to monetize this hobby- but I have the time and my hands and my heart have a need to create. I love being surrounded by yarn and I’m truly enjoying turning it into beautiful things. While each project teaches me more about looping and pulling yarn into life, I’ve also learned not to crochet during a migraine. And while each project becomes special to me, I’m currently obsessed with bulky ponchos and cowls perfect for chilly days when cozy is called for. They are coming fast! I will be opening an Etsy shop soon- unless I totally chicken out until then, PM me for details
