Yellow Bowl Love 💛 was badly needed today. Maybe it’s because yesterday oozed all things bitter that I craved the sweet stuff today. I began with gluten free banana bread cookies which are sweet but in a healthful way. And I probably would have been fine there, but my sister, Jill Marie, posted about cocoa-n-dunkin toast and the want for that sweet winter comfort of childhood has been in me for days. And there was one cup of chocolate chips left after the banana cookies. It’s totally ridiculous to save one cup of chocolate chips, but of course they can’t be wasted either… so truthfully, it was out of my control. Hot chocolate was, at this point, the practically-mandatory-inevitable-conclusion to the chocolate chip situation. So a pot of real, rich and creamy hot chocolate happened. And I’m not mad. And for those of you who are unaware, here are the dunkin’ toast deets- White bread. Toasted. Buttered. Cut into thirds. Dunked into hot chocolate. Yes, cocoa will do. Save the middles for last. They are the best. You’re welcome.
